40MP Tri-Clamp Gasket
40MP Tri-Clamp Gasket – Sanitary Seal for Food and Beverage Processing
The 40MP Tri-Clamp Gasket is critical for maintaining hygienic, leak-proof connections in sanitary piping systems. Designed for use between two Tri-Clamp ferrules, this gasket compresses securely with a clamp to ensure a smooth, cleanable seal that meets food, beverage, and pharmaceutical standards.
Available in various materials including Buna-N, EPDM, Silicone, PTFE, and FKM (Viton®), this gasket supports various process conditions—from hot CIP cycles to oil and solvent resistance. All materials are FDA-compliant and 3A certified, making them suitable for regulated food-grade environments.
All orders are shipped from our Canadian warehouse, ensuring fast and reliable delivery across North America.

Gasket Material Selection Guide
- Buna-N (Nitrile): Excellent resistance to oils and fuels. Ideal for brewery and food processing lines involving lubricants or oil-based products. Temp range: -35°F to 250°F.
- EPDM: General-purpose gasket for steam, hot water, and CIP systems. Not suitable for oils or solvents. Temp range: -65°F to 300°F.
- FKM (Viton®): is a high-performance choice for chemical resistance and high heat. It is not recommended for very cold applications. The temperature range is -15°F to 437°F.
- Silicone: Flexible at extreme temperatures. It is suitable for non-pressurized, high-temperature applications. However, it has poor mechanical strength. The temperature range is -80°F to 400°F.
- PTFE (Teflon®): Inert and resistant to nearly all chemicals. Best for aggressive cleaning or chemical exposure. It is not compressible; use only where consistent clamp pressure is possible—recommended with a High-Pressure Tri-Clamp. Temp range: -100°F to 450°F.
