B45 Air Blow Tri-Clamp Check Valve
Tri-clamps are one of the most common sanitary connection types in North America. It consists of a gasket between two tri-clamp ferrules or flanges which are mechanically tightened in place with a clamp. Made from stainless steel, it is used for piping in the food, beverage, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries. This air blow check valve can be used to hook up an air supply to fill a section of tubing without liquid backfilling the air supply. They are verified by both ASME A270 and 3A certifications.
Applications
- The air blow check valve is designed to pressurize lines with air to clean out product or cleaning solutions. It is fail-safe because the simple air-to-open, spring-to-close mechanism prevents backflow. Can be used with a check valve.
