Spray balls are used in the food and beverage industry to clean the inside of a vessel. A fermentation or bright beer tank can be washed with a CIP spray ball removing the need for hand scrubbing and worker exposure to cleaning agents.
Spray balls are either fixed or rotating. Static or fixed spray balls operate similarly to a showerhead and are a cost-effective solution. A rotating spray ball is more effective at cleaning saving time and money, but are generally more expensive.
These spray balls are made from 316 stainless steel and are used in vessel cleaning. They attach to A270 stainless steel tubing with a cotter pin clip.
