Stainless steel connections are best used with standard ferrules, however, when working with copper, using a slip-on ferrule is better. Designed to go over the copper pipe, it allows for a square mount every time with ease. Can be used in many brewery and distillery applications such as connecting copper water lines to brewery heat exchangers or copper piping to stainless steel kettles.
